I am writing to thank you for sending us Jamileh to help Gabriel with his math. He went from failing to 90% in a few months. I am not exaggerating.

Not only is Jamileh a very good teacher but she is very smart in terms of dealing with children. I say this because I have always known that Gabe has no problems in the brains department, it is the application of those brains where there is a problem. Gabe tends to argue and argue and argue trying to snow people and get his own way. Jamileh was not having any of it. In a very skillful way she handled the problem where quite frankly I had failed as a single parent.

Once when Gabe insisted on arguing with her, instead of doing the work as she asked, Jamileh walked off the job, saying she would not come back if he was going to be such a bad student. This resulted in Gabe to calling her twice and apologize to her and promise to work to his full potential or she threatened not to come back. It worked and from then on there was no more arguing and only respectful student teachers relations. Something that I and others had been trying to accomplish for years.

I would highly recommend Jamileh to anyone that asked and you for a quality teacher.
