Areas of Expertise:
Meet Natalie Cheung, M.Eng., M.Law.
Natalie is a dedicated educator with an academic background in systems engineering, naval architecture, and maritime law. As a 2010 Asian Games fencing bronze medallist, she brings the same discipline and dedication to her teaching. With experience working with students from elementary through to college levels, individually and in groups, Natalie specializes in making complex concepts accessible to all learners, particularly those with special needs.
My engineering background taught me how to break down complex problems, but teaching has shown me that every student needs their own unique path to understanding. Whether I'm working with elementary students or college learners, my goal remains the same—to create an environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.
Meet SIE Tutor, Kenny Chan
Kenny, a Vancouver native, discovered his calling for tutoring during his first year at university. For him, seeing students grasp new concepts and improve their grades has been rewarding ever since. When he’s not helping students excel in their studies, you’ll find Kenny on the hockey rink, basketball court, tennis court, or golf course. His passion for both athletics and academics helps him connect with students while bringing energy and enthusiasm to every tutoring session.
