The tutor must go over this with the client at the first session and make sure that it is signed by the client and the tutor. If we don’t have this in our file with the client’s signature we cannot enforce our rules. The client receives a copy in the mail directly from ‘School is Easy’. Korean, Chinese or Punjabi speaking clients will receive a copy in their own language. The English version must be signed in order for the policies to be enforced. The client keeps a copy and one copy is sent to ‘School is Easy’ with the monthly paperwork.

This form is very important because it acts as an official receipt for the client. Clients are able to use $500 per year per child as a tax credit. This form must be signed by client and tutor on the last tutoring session of the month. If no clients are tutored during a month, please email ‘School is Easy’ to ensure that we are aware that your payment is not late. Give the client a copy to keep and send a copy to ‘School is Easy’. Write client’s full names and your full name. This is essential for filing purposes. It’s fine to take a picture of this completed form and e-mail it to School is Easy.
When writing about a student’s progress remember to use the sandwich technique. Say something positive, state your recommendations for improvement and end with something positive.
This form is designed so you can type right into the blank fields, save the form and email it with all information intact, but you must have the newest version of the FREE Adobe Reader. To Download and install it please click this image:
Looking for the old “Form #3 – Monthly Invoice”?
Note: We no longer post Form #03 on our website in an effort to get our tutors to record their sessions in our online system. If you are a past tutor and would prefer to continue using Form #3, please contact School is Easy and request the updated form by e-mail.
Click here to log in to our online system.
At the end of every month please enter your hourly sessions into our online system, and submit Form #2 along with payment of administration fees. You have a grace period of 15 days. All paperwork and administration fees must arrive in our office no later than the 15th of the following month.
For example: Payment and reporting for tutoring sessions in April must be received by School is Easy on or before May 15th (the following month). A .50 cent per day late fee will be charged for every late day after the 15th and must be paid to ‘School is Easy’ by the tutor.
Non reporting: We contact old clients and active clients on a regular basis. We also send e-newsletters. If School is Easy discovers that a tutor is working with a SIE client that SIE introduced to them, but the tutor failed to report their tutoring sessions to School is Easy, the tutor will be fined $1,500. For example: If a School is Easy client stops tutoring with you at the end of the school year in June and then calls you directly in September to recommence tutoring sessions, you are expected to contact School is Easy immediately. If School is Easy finds out in December that tutoring began in September and the tutor did not report this to SIE, then the penalty of $1,500 will be enforced.
Note: Tutoring sessions are a tax credit and the client can reduce their income tax by submitting their SIE tutoring receipts to Canada Revenue Agency. We issue tax receipts to parents upon request. Please report your tutoring sessions accurately.
